Chapter 15

“Oh Gill” He puts his arms around me so tightly sobbing into my shoulder. “I love you too, I really do and I wanted to tell you but I didn’t want to push you away, Oh Gill hunny you have no idea how much this means to me. I love you so much.”

We sat talking for a while longer about our confessions until we eventually settled down to sleep.

‘I can’t believe how fast this is going I really hope I am doing the right thing.’

Once again I woke up before TK so before I woke him up for him to come for a run with me I got changed into my running gear and put all of my kung fu equipment and clothing into the car as to not initiate any questions from TK later.

When I got back to the bedroom Tyler was lying awake with tears running down his face and he was sobbing like a child.

I sat down beside him and wiped away his tears.

“What is wrong hunny?” I ask as I lean down and kiss his forehead.

“I got scared when I woke up and you were not there. I thought maybe you regretted last night.”

“Will you please look at me Tyler” He sits up leaning against the headboard.

I put my hands on his face wiping away his tears with my thumbs.

“I am not in the habit of telling every guy I meet that I love them. To me love is a very important thing and not just a word that can be used casually. I meant what I said, I love you and want you in my life, don’t ever forget that.”

I leaned in and kissed him deeply, my tongue gently massaging his, the taste of salt coming from his tears. I pull away still holding his face and tell him again that I love him.

“I love you too Gill I guess like you I am just scared. I have never been in love before and I just want to do it right.”

“Stop worrying and just go with the flow. I think we should both stop being scared and just help each other and take each day as it comes.”

Tyler eventually got up and I went for my morning run with him, I again went for a quick shower before heading for the pool. “Are you coming for a swim Tyler?”

“Yeah I suppose so.”

I swam my usual 100 lengths with Tyler stopping at around 50 and just messing about until I finished.

“Wow Gill I think you are fitter than me and that is not allowed, I am a professional hockey player.” He jokes as he puts his arms around me.

Tyler and I begin kissing deeply before things get carried away.

‘We fit together so well as if our bodies were made to be one’.

We eventually leave the pool after having some 'fun' in the pool and head for a shower and fix up some breakfast spending the next few hours together before I got ready to head to the Mellon.

“Right TK, I have to go now. When do you get back from Toronto?”

“We are coming back on Friday night before heading to Sweden on Monday, I really wish you could come with me?” Tyler stands holding me close to him.

“You will be too busy having fun to think about me, I have plenty of work to be getting on with here and will be here waiting for you when you get back.

“Oh and I forget to tell you, my next business trip is in November to Detroit and I was checking your schedule that you put on my fridge and you are there at the same time so I will try and get a ticket for the game. I have booked my hotel and flights so I will give you a copy of my agenda when you get back. Just come here again on Friday when you get back from Toronto.”

We said our goodbyes and thankfully there were no questions as to where I was going.
