Chapter 8

TK gave me directions to Jordans house and we arrived within about 10 minutes. His house is quite compact but is still very nice.

Jordan let us in almost immediately after we rang the door bell, he shook TKs hand and gave me a hug before telling us to go to the kitchen and get a drink.

“You know the drill TK, make yourself at home.”

We headed to the kitchen and got a drink before going to the living room and finding a seat on one of the smaller couches. There were not enough seats for everyone so I sat on TKs knee. I was leaning on the arm of the sofa looking about me, one of my hands playing with Tylers hair and the other holding my wine glass.

I noticed Lorna and Sidney over in the corner flirting with each other.

“TK, is Lorna ok with Sidney? I am very protective of her and I don’t want to see her hurt.” I whisper into his ear, letting my breath linger on his face.

“Yeah, she should be fine, he has been known to have a few one night stands but he generally would never be an arse about anything, if we think things are getting out of hand then we can intervene.”

We sat talking for a while longer when a beautiful dark haired woman entered the room.

“Who is that Tyler? She is gorgeous.”

“That is Flowers girlfriend Vero.

“Hey Vero, come and meet my girlfriend.” TK motions for Vero to join us. “Vero this is Gill, Gill meet Vero.”

I reached my hand out to shake her hand. She took a hold of it with her long slim fingers and perfect lightly polished nails.

“Hey TK, hi Gill, it is nice to meet you. I was curious when I heard that Tyler left the club with a girl, it is so unlike him. I was excited when Marc-Andre said you would be here tonight.

“Would you like to come and meet the girls?”

‘Her French accent is adorable.’

“It is nice to meet you too Vero. That would be nice.” I answer getting up from TKs knee.

I turn and smile at TK and nod my head, a silent understanding between us that if either of us wanted to leave just to ask and I knew that he would keep an eye on Lorna for me.

Vero introduced me to the girls and we all started chatting immediately. We spoke about various things and they asked about my company and moving to America most of them showing a genuine interest.

I found out that Vero is indeed French and not French-Canadian like I assumed.

We got along really well and chatted for a while agreeing that I would take the afternoon off on Tuesday and we would go shopping. I have an important meeting on Monday so I will be glad to get away from the office for a while.

I felt a tap on my shoulder and turned to see Lorna.

“Hey Lor, what’s up? Are you having a good night?” I asked.

Vero jumped up before Lorna got a chance to answer.

“I am so sorry I did not know that you were here or I would have introduced myself and asked you to come and sit with us, I am Vero, pleased to meet you?” She answers as she out stretches her hand.

“Hi Vero, I am Lorna, it is nice to meet you too.” Lorna answers as she shakes Vero’s hand.

“Gill, Sidney is going to take me home. I will see you on Monday at work. Thanks for tonight.” She says as she turns to hug me.

“Be careful Lorna.” I say as I hug her back.

I sit back down and look around the girls for some reaction.

“Don’t worry Gill, she will be ok, we won’t let anything happen to her.”

We chat for a while longer when everyone starts to go home, Vero and I are still chatting when I see Marc-Andre and TK approaching.

“Girls, I think it is time for us to be heading home.” Marc announces as he reaches the table we are sitting at, he kisses Vero on her forehead before sitting beside her and I can tell that they are so in love.

TK stood with his arms around my shoulders and I reached up to hold his hand.

“Well you better call a cab then Marc.” Vero smiles lovingly back at him.

“You don’t need to do that” I answer, “I will give you a lift home.”

We said our goodbyes to those that were left and thanked Jordon for having us round and I promised that I would return the favour sometime soon.

It turns out the Marc and Vero don’t live far from me so about half an hour later after leaving Jordan’s I pulled into the driveway of my house.

As we enter my house I catch sight of TK yawning.

“Are you tired Mr Kennedy?” I ask as I push him gently against the wall running my hands down his sides and resting them on his waist, leaning myself against him slightly.

“Yeah but you are making me want to take you up to your bed and do so many naughty things to you…”

I stand on my tip toes and kiss him passionately, our tongues fighting for possession, my hands finding their way under his shirt, my fingers roaming all over his toned torso. His hands running down my back and down to my thighs grabbing legs, pulling me up putting them around his waist so that he could carry me up the stairs.

As he carries me I gently kiss his neck knowing that I can’t do this to him when he is so tired.

He lays me down on the bed laying himself gently on top of me, his weight heavy but comforting, his eyes look deep into mine, the different shades of brown lighting up as he smiles at me.

I take his face in my hands and kiss him gently on the lips.

“Let’s get ready for bed gorgeous.”

TK continues to look deep into my eyes as if trying to see what I was feeling.

“Believe me Tyler, I don’t want to stop what I started but I know it is wrong for me to do this the night before you leave for a game, we can pick up where we stopped again soon, I promise.”

I put my hands on his neck, pulling his face down to meet mine and kissed him deeply, showing that I meant what I said.

“Thanks Gill, you are an angel.”

We quickly got ready for bed and cuddled up together under the duvet falling asleep quickly.
